I saw SEL a month or two ago. I'm going to need to rewatch it to understand it more fully, but it did speak to me in a lot of ways. How people tend to turn to cyber spaces as a way of escaping the real world. And how at the end, when Lain finally figures out who she is, she realizes that she can't relate to people because she's so different. The show made me depressed. In a way I felt like Lain. Destined to never belong.
